About akojo
The following represents a brief description of the conception and purpose of akojo.com
AkoJo.com is a meeting place, our member base being predominantly Filipina women,
some are seeking soul mates, some seeking lovers, others are seeking friends,
all are seeking to communicate and share.
Our community is diverse in its belief and social status,
from lowly street vendors to university educators and guardians
of public office. Our members have for their own unique reasons,
chosen to create a public profile and share a little about themselves,
communicating their character, culture and lifestyle.
Originally conceived as an Asian dating site, reflecting a member base
majority of women from the Philippines. Most members
are more intent on communicating than they are in dating as such.
Akojo will endeavour to meet the demand of our members and develop
avenues of expression, creativity and communication. Members are
encouraged to showcase their skills, talents, understanding and achievments
and to share knowledge and experiences that they consider relevant.
Akojo does not promote any social class or favour any caste image;
it is not a matchmaking service or marriage agency,
we do not sell anything, we are not vendors, there are no shopping carts,
no purchases and no checkouts, we do not accept subscriptions,
fees or donations from any persons or party.
Akojo protects the privacy of members; we do not distribute email
addresses or personal contact information in any way shape or form.
Akojo membership is not limited to any nationality or ethnicity,
at the time of this writing akojo members come from thirty-two
different countries
